1st bike ride!!

Daddy got a seat for Vega on his bike so monday we went for her 1st ever bike ride! she seemed to really enjoy it...anytime i would be riding behind them she would call for me, she really wanted me to ride right beside them, it was quite cute! we only rode for about 45 mins or an hour & by the end she had fallen asleep! GOOD TIMES!

....btw she has a tricycle but her lil legs aren't quite long enough to pedal. just so y'all don't think we've been depriving her of the biking experience! ha

YOU KNOW THESE MOMENTS W/ HER, JUST ENJOYING LIFE, ARE WHAT REALLY MATTER!! everything else is just stuff. i can't imagine how anything else could be put before a child & their happiness. it's really sad it's not like that for all parents. she is my everything...EVERYTHING!

hey there...it is so wonderful outside, a perfect 69! if ur in memphis you know days like this are few & far between usually & yet we have been quite lucky lately...beautiful spring days minus the abundance of 'april showers' that tend to take over during nice weather. we've have been trying to spend as much time outside as we can (sadly to the point that the inside of our house kinda looks like college students live here; just running in to eat & change clothes) anyway we are really enjoying eating our meals outside. this weekend is cooper-young yard sale so it may be smart for me to try & find a small outside table, for the low low..ha! i think i would do just about anything to live somewhere where we could be outside like this year around...im sure you all have seen pictures in catalogs & magazines of those outside kitchens & dining rooms...awesome! & what about those outside bedrooms in the anthropologie...can we say dream come true! anyway back to reality mommaso V's new thing is "i help" w/ everything...so this morning she helped w/ breakfast, it was so fun! here's some pics

oh & we have watched the recycle & garbage trucks this morning...V thinks they are sooo neat! & as im typing this & trying to wrap it up look what she found
she tells me our front steps are his home & he wants to eat grass...hmmmm, yet he goes back in "he home" every time she shoves grass at him, then she yells "EAT!!!" at him...they've been doing this for about 15mins! well we need to walk up to easy way & get some fruit...if only there was a locally owned place that we could walk to that sold diapers (that i can afford)....

a new commitment

well hello there......yes yes i know i am, hands down, the worst blogger ever! but there is good news to come & i have mad a commitment to blog regularly...first & foremost V is doing great! we had a pretty good visit @ clinic last time, she's having a lil tummy issues but nothing unusal & nothing that we cant deal w/. we also are watching her weight gain, shes always been in the 80th + % for weight & height but since the end of the year she has dropped into the 50th...no major concern but we dont want it to keep going down. a lot of CF people are very under weight & it has been a great blessing that V never has. honestly im hoping that it going down is a genetic thing & has nothing to do w/ her CF. seeing as im almost 30 & about 110 lbs & 5'2" theres a pretty good chance shes not exactly going to be average (or above) in height. so thats what we're dealing w/ @ this moment in time...all is on the up & up!.... now if we could just get her temper under wraps that would be awesome! other bit of good news is that i just signed up to be able to blog from my phone...this means i can post pictures as soon as i take them! yipee!! im slightly obsessed w/ my lil princess so i take hundreds of pictures that i can now share w/ u immediately....so this may become more of an online photo gallery

so ive found myself not always wanting to be nice or positive when i get on to blog so i end up not saying anything but i've come to the decision that honestly i dont give a shit & will just say what i want & be who i am...so things may not always be all great on here but they will be real! sometimes life sucks & people suck & sometimes things can be amazing...if you want to be a part of the ups & downs of real life than i hope u come back to check on us!

well happy new year...i can't believe its 2010, the years seem to be flying by

we had a wonderful holiday...Vega got so much stuff & seems to be feeling great! she has a lil cough off & on but that could actually be a good thing. it could mean shes getting some of the yucky stuff out!

so here's V the night we put up the tree...

yes i know this picture looks a lil white trash w/ V in just a diaper, the tree half lit, & a squirrel on top...but look how much she loves the christmas decorations..its precious!

quick update

ok so its been a few...i'm really sorry...apparently im not a very good blogger..ha!

so Vega seems to be doing good, but she never really acted like she felt bad. she was supposed to go to clinic on friday for her check up & see if the antibiotics she is on @ home r doing their job...but we both slept thru the alarm...she'd been up ALL nite (her sleep schedule is a lil messed up since the hospital) anyway so we go back tommorrow @ 10:30

i am a lil nervous cause Vega has had a runny nose & sounds a lil yucky...i think its this memphis weather...its 30 then its 60, its sunny outside then its pouring...everyone is dealing with some kind of head stuff...just keep her in ur thoughts & prayers pls!

...sry this is a quick lil post but Vega is standing beside me freaking out cause im not playing with her...so back to my job as momma

home

WE'RE HOME!!!

thank heavens...this is going to be short cause i'm super tired!....they took the PICC out & put Vega on Cephalexin, an antibiotic that she'll take orally...also gave her some Nystatin topical cause all the antibiotics have beyond messed her lil tummy up. everything else has stayed the same.

she seems happy to be home...as soon as the rain goes away i'm gonna let her go play outside...poor kid needs some fresh air.

....oh yeah...she did her inhaler for the 1st time @ home...she was such a big girl...she put it up to her face & even pushed the button...i'm so proud of her.

so she'll do 10days of the Cepalexin & then go to clinic & get a culture done & get looked @ so, of course, i'll keep u updated on that.

i'll write more later but my brain isnt cooperating...
